I just want to address something from last week. About shapeshifting and how it changes your personality. But the fact remains not everyone's self image is the same as their actual appearance. So wouldn't that be useful for those people? So their form actually matches their self image?

Actually about shapeshifting, you will have similar traits with the person but it will never be the same. You won't have their exact memories when you shapeshift into a certain person. You will know their general memories but not like specific memories with someone. Which is why sometimes some OP protagonists can identify those who are real and a fake person. In terms of usefulness, its a gamble. If you're lucky you can use it as an advantage or it go sideways

The manga showed this in a very unusual way.....

sounds like it was VAs that got sick and you can't exactly do an anime without a VA and the Covid is prob affecting their voice so they are pretty much unable to do anything until they start feeling better
